Ascension are a metal band from all over Louth in Ireland.We formed late last year (2004) and have been creating heavy ass music ever since.We have played all over Ireland in such places as Temple Bar Music Centre and we've also played in the new improved McHughs in Drogheda and made the spirit store our second home.
There is a lot of history in the band and we have been through various drummers and guitarists until we eventually found what we feel is the right line-up!!
We are constantly writing new material and perfecting old stuff aswell.We wil have our new material out soon and are looking to be signed by a label. we will be hitting the road soon so hope we'll see ya their with us when we play your town

we have soom new and old songs still to record, all are heavy songs, we'll be going into the studio over the next month or so to record the songs and will have them up as soon as possible

I would like to thank alll the bands form Issue 15 April 18th for a very good night.
You all did a very good job, smooth changeovers and general great athmosphere.
Everybody that I saw enjoyed the night and you all made it worth it.
It was a very important night for both myself and the whole of Ireland.
What happened there was one of the very first Irish National events I know of of that scale and briliance I have ever seem in Galway city.
Proad yourself with the start of a revolution and lets take it one step futher next time.
I'll upload the photos asap.
